so i guess i will start with some background..

My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Feb 08, after having surgery to remove most of her pancreas (the drs thought she had accute pancreantitis) sorry for my spelling i am tired!..The cancer is very advanced, and the drs said we have 1-2 years left with her, and reccomended Chemo to slow it down.
She has been having chemo every week for 7 weeks and then gets a week rest from it, and then back to every week again....at her latest appt her dr said her tumor count went from 426...down to 17...thats a HUGE decline if you ask me!
the day we got those results we were in the tattoo shop where 5 women in my family were getting purple cancer ribbon tattoos for mom..I am going to try to post pic if i can....
