pregnant with melanona

Hi, i am 28 weeks pregnant and i was diagnosed with melanoma just last week. i cannot describe the magnitude of depression i feel. i have two daughters and another on the way, my husband works the night/graveyard shift in a contact center and usually comes home tired. i feel as if i do not have a place in my own home and that nobody actually cares that i am sick.
I do not have anyone to talk to and i do not want to swamp my husband with these feelings since he is already stressed out with the number of responsibilities he is tied on doing.

Oh cafekalipay, I am so very sorry about your cancer and overall life situation. What have you had done so far: just a biopsy or have they removed all of the melanoma? Have they given you any information about the stage of the cancer; has it metastasized of your organs? If not, your medical team will hopefully wait until you give birth, but you should start chemotherapy as soon as possible if it it a high stage.

I can hear how worried and overwhelmed you are. Please, use this forum to express you feelings, to find support, and answers to your questions.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
