Hi, my name is Amber. This is a hard thing, I am not one to reach out for support. My mom was diagnosed with Pan. Cancer on Friday December 14, 2007. After the shock, I am now trying so hard to find the strenth to press forward, and do what I can. I know that God will give me the strenth. After reading some of these postings, I hurt for all of us! But yet am finding comfort knowing that I am not alone, or the only one that has this pain. My mom always wanted to be a country singer! I want to take her to Nashville, and to Graceland before it is too late. I need help to get her there though.
I hope that this site helps me, and gives me encouragement. God has allowed me to have an "enlightenment" and I want to make peace with some people in my life that I have needed to for a long time. We are believers, and if God is calling my mommy home...It is to prepare a place for me and my family! We are gonna fight though! My mom is a tuff cookie. Right now...Everything seems so scattered. Where do I start?

Hi Amber. Welcome to the forum. I too hope you finds the support and information you need through this site.

The place to start is by posting your mother's story in the Pancreatic Cancer Forum below. Ask any questions you may have and we will try to answer.

My mom has liver cancer....I understand everything that you are feeling and going through..You are in my prayers.
