Marm,

Sorry I can't help with the report, but they can't be sure it is cancer without a biopsy.

My best wishes,

Hi marm218, that number is for insurance purposes only. Those codes have been used since the mid to late '80 when "managed care" started to dominate our health care system. Each office visit, test, treatment, etc, has it own number. That number tells the insurance company what the test was checking for and not necessarily what it found. They were checking for cancer (malignant neoplasm) in the bronchus. I would need to see what ease the CT scan report said to tell if they found it or not.

I am sorry for your health concerns. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
