Ugh, They just found a 4 cm tumor in my husbands liver. He has Hep c and we knew this was a possability but he was doing so well. In the last 2 months he lost over 30 pounds and his stomach started really bothering him. I talked him into going to the doctor and here we are.
Monday we go in to see if the cancer has spread.
I have lost my father to car accident and my mother to luekemia in the last 2 years. In fact it hasnt even been a year since mom went. I must say I am scared to death. I am angry. This is absolutely not FAIR. I have 2 children in high school that I am worried about. What am I going to do. I feel cursed and I do realize I am ranting. So sorry but I need help.

KonoctiMom, oh my goodness are the only words that come out of me as I read your story. I am so sorry for your husbands cancer on top of all the other losses you have had Sad

My father died of an infection secondary to leukemia Sept 2006. My mother died of GBM (brain cancer) Sept 27, 1998. On top of that, I am a cancer survivor. No, cancer is not fair. I feel your anger and anxiety about the future.

Has the liver cancer been confirmed by a biopsy? I know that with Hep C in your husband's history that is a high probability. However, only a biopsy can say for sure.

You have all the rite to rant and rave. You will find a lot of support and information on this forum.

You and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers. Contact me via email or IM anytime you want.
