I was recently diagnosed and am scheduled for robotic surgery with Dr. Tewari in February.

While I am looking for information on Dr. Tewari, I am also interested in learning about Dr. Lepore.

If you have had surgery with Dr. Lepore can you please tell me a little about your experience? I'm especially interested in post-operative information such as healing times, erection issues, continence, and general health and welfare.

Any information you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated. If there's anything you think I should know - please respond or email me directly at josephsideburn at aol dot com.

Thank you**

I had a RP with Dr. Lepor in Oct. of 2004. It was performed at NYU hospital in NY. Since the operation, I have seen Lepor every 6 months and have had PSA tests every 3 months. I am not happy with the results of the PSA tests but Dr. Lepor has said it was a very "bad" cancer. The doctor that did my biopsy was a Dr. F. Lowe and he is at St. Lukes/ Rooselvelt Hospital. It worked with Lepor at Johns Hopkins and also does the RP surgery. Maybe a consult is in order. As for me, my PSA keeps rising after surgery.

good luck..Jim
