Hepatocellular Carcinoma spread over to the Lymph nodes

Hi all,

I'm feeling as desperate as anyone could be. My mom was diagnosed with tumor in the Liver some 5 months ago. The hepatoma was rather large and cancer had spread over to her Lymph nodules. She was given two sessions of TACE that left tumor necrosis in her liver. After that the oncologist recommended a regimen of chemotherapy for her to somehow control the cancer spread outside the liver and informed us that this particular regimen has a success rate of only 30%. The regimen consists of the following three toxic drugs:

1. Avastin (Bevacizunab) by ROCHE.
2. Gemzar (Gemcitabine) by ELILILY.
3. Eloxatin (Oxaliplatin) by SANOFI-AVENTIS.

The Oncologist had recommended a Gentle Systemic chemotherapy and hence the dosage that they are administering for her is quite light. Nevertheless, she cannot tolerate a complete dose. After two doses of chemotherapy i had a CT Scan conducted and apparently the size of the lymphnodes has further increased which marks the progress of cancer over the lymphnodes.

Has anybody over here tried out some regimen besides this one with successful results? Thank you for patiently reading my post. Please let me know if you people may advise me in this area.
