Brain Tumor - Non Seminoma

Hi,
First of all, I am thank you for all who come and read my post. I need advices and infos from all of you who could help or point me directions to go. Here is my situation.

1. After the first biopsy, the pathology report said I got a pure germinoma
2. After it come back, the surgeon remove one tumor completely and the pathology report said this time it is a non-seminoma tumor ( mix germ cell )
I got a brain tumor in the pineal region 2 yr ago, then I went on radiation without any surgery ( except biopsy ). Then it come back with 2 tumor in different locations within the brain only. Then I again this time go for 2 cycle of high dose chemotherapy. The tumor disappear on the 1st cycle of chemo. Then only 5 month after finishing the chemotherapy, the tumor appear again in the same location. I had my tumor marker test on april 11, the result are perfectly normal, then I took the MRI on april 12, and the doctor told me that he saw a bright spot which is very suspicious as the tumor is coming back. From the beginning, most of the doctors told me that I got a rare tumor but it is curable easily by radiation, once it comes back, they are all shock and they decide to go for a more agressive treatment which is high dose chemo. And, now it come back again. To me, it look very simple and now very complex. Any one know someone has the same case as mine??

A tissue diagnosis of a mix germ cell sounds like an unusual tumor type in the brain, unless it's a metastasis. Many of these tend to arise from the sex organs. Are your doctors sure of the tumor diagnosis? When things happen that are unexpected, it's always a good idea to seek a 2nd opinion. This will make sure that everyone agrees with the diagnosis and best treatment. Keep us posted. Good Luck.
