My daughter just finished 4 rounds of chemo and some of the side effects of the chemo are weakness in lymbs, hers are in her hands. She cannot hardly write so this is making it very difficult for her to keep up with school work. Has anyone had this experience and how long does it last?

Hi there,

When I had chemo my fingers became very weak but after a 2/3 months they were more or less back to normal, however, everyone is different. Could she use a computer or dictate to someone? Talk to her school, they ought to be able to help, most are very understanding.

Good luck x
