Hello-

I have a breast lump found by my doctor. I had the sonnogram and the radiologist said it was normal breast tissue-a lobe.

However, later, when my doctor reviewed the film, he saw something and I was called backed for a biopsy. They know it is not a cyst however.

Does anyone have any info that would help me be less worried? Are there any indicators about this before the actual biopsy?

Bette,

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately there is not much to do other than what you are already doing. The ultrasound an mammogram give a general picture and characteristics of the nodule, and if the physician orders a biopsy it means that something made him concerned about it.

GO FOR A BIOPSY WITHOUT SECOND THOUGHT, THAT WILL ONLY RELIEVE YOUR ANXIETY.
