I'm wondering if anyone else has had this feeling: its like there is something stuck in my throat. It feels like I swallowed a pill and it got stuck somewhere along the way. It has felt like this since Friday. I can breathe just fine, but its really starting to bother me because it almost feels like I am being choked.

Oh, an update... I saw the doc today (the good one) and he wants me to have another PET scan in a month or so. If the mass lights up again they will have to biopsy. Im going back tomorrow because I cant stand this throat thing anymore. I have waited because I dont want to get any crap from the nurses again. I have had some bad experiences, and I dont want them looking at me like I am crazy. Any thoughts?

They think its just some inflammation. From what, I have no idea. Anyway, I will have a CT scan in early September, that is what they said today. If it has gotten any bigger, I guess they will biopsy then. The mass isnt really accessible with FNA, so they would have to put me under. Its an invasive procedure, so they dont want to do it unless they have to. If it is inflammation because of a reaction to a virus or something, the mass should have gone done by Sept. So thats the plan....

Sounds like a good plan; no use digging if they don't have to. good luck.
