My daughter who is almost 49 has just been diagnosed with Stage1, CategoryA Bowel Cancer.
They are going to do a resection A.S.A.P.

I hav to admit I know nothing about bowel cancer, and it stands, she won't let me phone her or even be near her.
Has anybody here been through Stage1-category A bowel cancer? If so, can you tell me what the chances of survival are following resection?

It can be a pretty good prongosis after this if it is caught without spreading. The main problem after surgery of this type is the constant diarrhoea/constipation.
