Hi my mom is diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. They found it while trying to remove her gallstone (surgery). She is in the philippines and I am here in canada. Now, the doctor did not cut the gallbladder thinking my mom might have worst bleading so he closed up the surgery without taking the gal bladder out.

She is sched for CT SCAN by thursday for staging.

Basing from the surgeon observation ( that she might blead to death when the gallbladder is removed) what would be her likely prognosis. I love my mom so much thats why questions are always lingering on my head..

Please help answer some......

Hi,

I am not sure if you are still reading this, or what has happened to your Mum? My mum was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer nearly three years ago. She passed away nearly two years ago. It is a very aggressive cancer and as far as I know, the only hope for a cure is surgery, assuming the tumor hasn't spread. If you want to know anymore about what happened to my mum or just to talk, please reply.
