Hi my name is Bob i live in Montana. We found out my wife has terminal cancer and the doctor told her she has about six months to live. She has been in and out of hospital in last three months. She went through radiation but it did nothing to tumor. We are hoping for a miracle that it goes into remission. We have no children. We have Hospice coming over a couple of times a week to check on her. I really dont know what to say. I am just devistated. I try not to cry around her. She is home with me . She wants to stay at home and i am glad. Im sorry if i rambled on.. God Bless everyone

I'm so sorry to hear about your wife, Bob.

Having been through this with my dad recently, all i can say is stay positive. Doctors that give time line's aren't always correct. My dad was given 3-6 months after his diagnosis, and he lived a year and a half

Don't be afraid to show emotion, you are only human. Cancer is a devastating disease, and no one is immune to it's aftermath.

My prayers are with you both. If you have any questions about what is going to happen in the next few months with regards to treatment, coping, or anything, feel free to leave a message me.

I am so very sorry for the awful news Bob. If only you could wake up and get out of this nightmare. Sad Hospice is an amazing organization and I am confident they will make her remaining time as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Feel free to come in and vent anytime... Big hugs. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts.

Hi Bob---So sorry to hear about your wife. I am also new to this horrible nightmare of cancer. My mom is 87 and was diagnosed last week with lung cancer w/mets to lymph nodes. I understand how you feel. No matter what treatment options you chose or if you chose no treatment, that feeling everyday when you look at your loved one. I feel totally helpless, unable to make everything ok again. I have always been the caregiver in my family..I had 2 sets of aunts and uncles (without children) that were like parents to me. They (over the past 20 years) have passed away under my care. Also I lost my only brother 2 years ago after a lenghty illness, and my father 10 years ago to lung cancer. It is now just my mom and I and we are both very tired. But we still have hope. Bob--dont give up on hope. I wish I had some miracle words to give you to help, but unfortunately all I can say is that I understand. My prayers are with you and your wife during this time. Heres are BIG HUG for you also. Sincerely, Carolyn
