A very important person in my life has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Stage to be determined though I can share this person has lost 30 lbs in 3 months-cannot eat or keep food down (vomits) is severely constipated and has wicked acid reflux. Age: 52 years. Non smoker, very moderate drinker-otherwise healthy.

From all I have read I put this person in possible stage 3-4. Is there hope? We are devestated. No, that is an understatement.

Please if you have any things to try-stories to encourage-please please share with me.

hi,

i am really sorry that you found yourself in this forum, and sorry for your mum. and sorry too that i don't have information to give you. i reply your post to tell that we care and i anderstand from my own experience how is not barebale to live what you do you living rightnow.

i think you must ask the doctor more details abou your mum case but in my opinion not in front of her by phone par exemple, to have more details, that maybe he don't want to give infront of her.

god bless your mum, wish her to recover.
