Hello. My sister in law was just diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I don't know all of the details yet, but it appears that it may be stage IV. She lives in the Youngstown area, but would like to have consulation(s) with doctors in the Cleveland area. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also, recommendations for support groups. She has 2 young children and is obviously devastated by this news. Thank you very much.

I do not know any of the oncologists in that area, but the Cleveland Clinic is in the top 20 cancer centers in the US. A doctor there is your best bet.

Talk to your friends who have had cancer. Often, they are the best source of personal information about specific oncologists.

Your sister in law is in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi mandynole,

My heart goes out to you and your sister. I do know about medical facilities in that area, but wanted to suggest looking into http://cancercare.org for support for the cancer patient and their families. It also has limited financial support, but I was really appreciative of the assistance they gave me. You and your sister are in my prayers.
