Hi all...

Eight months after my mom has been diagnosed with NSCLC (with liver and bone metastasis), morphine is the only help she can really have. Chemo didn't help at the very end of the day. It seemed to be helping her at first, but cancer is much stronger. My mom can no longer eat and she has severe pain. She has been helped by several different kind of painkillers and recently morphine.

Now we have her at home. She sleeps most of the day and when she is not, she does not feel well. We have asked the doctors what should we expect right now, but they say it's not the end yet. I can not see her suffering anymore.

It's good that this forum exist.

sorry to hear about your mom. Just try to make her as comfortable as you can- i'm sure you do anyway.
