My mom was recently 2/9/06 with ACUP they have done CT and a biopsy of the tumor site which is attached to her heart. The DR. told us it wasn't lung cancer, and they do not know where it is originating from. They are starting Chemo on 2/27 and she will meet with the dr just before that. I feel very uneasy as if we are not being told something. They say she is a rare case. Can anyone please tell me where I can pull some info from. I have visited the NCI and everything I see looks very bad, but relates to the lungs.

Heather, I am very sorry to her about your mother. I have no personal infromation on lung cancer.

I am moving this thread to the lung cancer forum where you are more likely to have helpful replies.
