Dear Participants

I just added RSS syndication to our forums.

What is RSS ? It is an easy way to keep up with forums, weblogs, news and other constantly updated content from one central location.

You will need an aggregator, which will be the central location of all your RSS feeds. You can use a software application like the free FeedReader (http://www.feedreader.com), or a very popular weebsite called Bloglines (http://bloglines.com). Both are really nice, and you can get all sorts of content so you don't have to spend hours visiting websites to figure out which ones have new items.

To add the RSS Feed to your aggregator, the link is commonly found associated with the small orange RSS graphic ( ). Just copy that link to your aggregator and you are in business.

regards,
Leo

Hi Leo,
The RSS link as not working right... at least not for me. I get a XML document but not a link.

So, if I want this RSS thingie I have to get an alligator from a weebsite and associate it with a small orange.
Got it!

Another option, if you use MS Outlook 2000 or better is to use the Attensa Aggregator. It is also free. You can download it from: http://www.attensa.com. It is a beta version at this time and it works on different sites. I just can't get it to work for Cancer Forums.

Brainman,

What I use and works well for me is bloglines (bloglines.com).
