This will probably be my last opportunity to past a message. I have surgery Monday AM and will be in hospital for at least a week... that is if I do not have to have any rehab. Talk to you all when I get back. _________________ Jim

Brainman, You're probably already at the hospital, but just saw you were going in today and want you to know that you are in our prayers and thoughts. I wish you the best of outcomes.

I felt all of your prayer and thoughts with me. Thank you.
I was back home 3 days post-out!! But have had a lot of weakness in my right arms. Actually, it was dexterity in me right hand that I last. It has gradually been returning to the point that I can do some posting. This has been my best day by far!
I won?t repeat what I have already said in other posts. I just want to thank all of you for your continued support.

Brainman,
I'm glad to see you are back. You have and will continue to be in my prayers. Your strength is a comfort.
I wish you the best of outcomes.

I'm glad to hear that you made it through OK and that you're regaining some of your movement on the right arm. I seem to remember having less dexterity myself, but just shakiness from all my muscles being very weak. I'm glad it happened in the summer because I was able to go on prayer walks to regain my strength. I couldn't even lift my legs up to put my shoes on; I had to position them open on the floor. Squating down was hard to recover from and on my first walk I went too far and started wishing for a ride home.
I'm still a little out of shape, but I just sold my house and moved. It took three days to move and four trips. I did have help from one other man each day, but now that my body has recovered from the move, now I'm in shape for the move. It's funny how that works. My fingers were weak and I managed to drop my very heavy desk such that it hit a brick wall instead of my arm. Whew!
I suspect your recovery will be much more rapid because my body was tore up from the seizures. When both kidneys quit and you're lying on a bed for 2 weeks bad things happen. Fortunately, the steroids helped the kidneys start up again and my brother didn't need to donate one. _________________ Greg --> 3 years and counting

Thanks,
I finished radiation therapy almost two weeks ago and am feeling better than I have since 1992! My speech is clearer. My thoughts are clearer. My spelling still stinks. But two out of three ain’t bad.
Now, if I can just get back to work soon! _________________ Jim
