Hello -

Our oncologist is thinking of putting my Dad on Erbitux/Irinotecan. We've had 8 treatments of Avastin w/ FOLFOX due to Colon Cancer, mets to the liver, and while about 98% of everything is dead (or not metabolicly active on the PET Scan) in the liver, the doctor wants more significant, actual shrinkage to occur within the liver itself. Some has already occured, but he wants more.

Is anyone here on Erbitux or Irinotecan? What can we expect...if you've already been on FOLFOX w/ AVASTIN, is the Erbitux/Irinotecan much stronger? What would the different side effects be...I've read all the literature online, but it seems like everyone experiences something different.
