Hi, Lydia.

If you had read any of the archives about this you would know that one can make even a normal node enlarge just by touching it every day. These nodes were enlarged by a pathological process so it is even more true. What was the result of your mono test 3 weeks after this started?

If you keep checking it, it certainly will still be there in 6 weeks and then you will have a scar on your neck and a pathology report that says: "reactive hyperplasia".

Let us know what happens.

Walt

Hi, Lee.

If I knew how old you are, I would have a better idea whether to be concerned or not.

It has been known for more than 100 years that just touching a normal lymph node once a day will cause it to enlarge and keep it enlarged for as long as that is continued.

For now, I would make the appointment. You can always cancel it.
