I was diangosed with Hodgkins in January of this year. I had stage 2 Hodgkins disease and went through 6 cycles of chemotherapy. I also went through 18 treaments of radiation. I have to go for a follow up CT scan since it has been about 6 months since my chemotherapy. I was wondering what is the relapse rate for something like this? What factors can affect this rate?

Hello

I don't have specific numbers, but the odds are favorable. You can read the National Cancer Institute's webpage for very useful information:

regards,
Leo

I'm sorry you are going through this again, my daughter who is going through this for the third time is doing a clincal trial in New York, at Sloan Kettering. She is on PDX and it is working, she gets it once a week, there is no hair loss, and it just attacks the cancer, she had some disappear, and some shrink more than 50% she has a website you might be interested in looking at www.alesecoco.org
