Well, I had my surgery in Jan to remove my tumor and March to reverse the temp. Illiostomy. I am still in a lot of pain. My radiologist says my surgeon should be able to help me, my surgeon says it's from the radiology. His only advise, eat more fiber. None of this is helping me and I am really frustrated.
I had the lower part of my colon & most of my rectum removed. For some reason now I have a lot of gas and it hurts trying to pass. Constant BMs and those usually hurt too. I feel a lot of pain and pressure down there. The doctor didn't seem to think the pain was normal but didn't seem to care. Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone help???????????????????

I hesitated replying because I am very disconcerted with surgeons because of recent experience with my Dad's colon cancer experience but you need an answer.
Do you have an oncologist ? Who diagnosed your cancer? If you have no confidence in any of the specialists that are treating you, contact the American Cancer Society for advice
Don't let these doctors delay your treatment and relief.
