Hi. My name is Kanchana Seshadri.I am from India.
My mother was diagnosed of breast cancer in June 2004 and went through 3 doses of chemotherapy,mastectomy,28 sittings of radiations and then 3 more doses of chemotherapy. We then saw happiness in our lives but it was short lived because hardly 4 months after her complete treatment,she developed a stomach pain which was diagnosed to be the final stages of liver cancer. The doctors told us we are fighting a losing battle and said that my mother cannot withstand any more chemotherapies.Before we could think of any further treatment she completely lost stamina and was not even able to sit for a long time.. she fought the breast cancer with a smile on her face throughout because she was confident of coming back and living a happy life with the people she loves but when she found out about the illness again she did not want to suffer.. She took her last breath on the 29th of May 2005 with all of us watching.

Kanchana,
I also just lost a loved one to cancer. She wasn't diagnosed until April,
but something was going on with her body. She passed away 6-11-05. She was my twin and I feel like I have lost a part of myself. God be with you. Linda ended up having cancer throughout her body, lung, liver, breast and head. She opted for no type of treatment. She was with us six weeks only. I had one week that I was able to spend with her being from different states. Take care and my prayers are with you.

Lana,
I am extremely sorry to hear about ure twin.. Its really dificult I know to cope with the loss of someone so close to u.. we will pray for ure family to get the strength to battle such a loss..
