This is Saturaday after a week of Prednisone. It did not seem to have such an adverse affect on me this time around.

I had fixed my sons old bicycle up for my granddaugter and every morning we had to ride our bikes to her swim practice. No problems with the energy.

She had friends over after swim practice; one of her friends has the most "grating" personality...even my "hyper" lab runs and hides when she comes over. I didn't kill her, so that is good.

Last night I slept fine without any sleep aids and this morning went over to the swim meet to watch my granddaughter. I even rode my motorcycle.

I guess it affect different people different ways.

Don, I am very happy you had a relatively "benign" experience with the Prednisone this go round. It is good for me to know what I may be looking at when that time comes, should it come.

As I said to my wife this morning regarding remission, I am counting on every single day that I get in this phase of the disease without any expectation that it will or won't come back. I know what the stats say about reoccurance so do not have unreasonable expectations of the future. On the other hand, I am resolved to make the very most of every disease free day that I am gifted with...

I hope that you get back to this state with this round of treatment, Don. I enjoy the insight you provide in your posts. Semper Fi, Kermica
