WOW- well congratulations on getting the information you really needed.

About the clots. I was told cane be normal after a leep. surgery, etc. I think as long as not large ones, like maybe a marble to golf ball. It should be ok. Maybe just watch it till next period, and see what happens then.

I always had clots and large ones, could be up to orange size- gross i know. BEFORE my cancer and opp. Then after my surgery i had quite light flows and no clots, then had my son, nothing changed, then 2 years after clots again- this time small. The specialist said when i asked. Said that your own body has hormonal changes, but also a cycle in itself, where you periods will change. For me not to worry- BUT if you are worried, then ask. That is what the DR is for...

well still today i have the clots but they are significantly smaller and im sure it was my period and nothing else plus the doc told me it was the onset of my period, but my cramps are killer! but thats what motrin and my other painkillers are for. i never abuse them, but when its bad boy its nice to have something strong enough. i know you all understand. thanks for all the help.

things finally started going back to normal. i had my period on schedule after the leep and it lasted the normal amount of time. unfortunately i think i got too confident because i started having sex again and on 5/28 and again on the 30th and 31st. light brownish red blood was comin out the first 2 times and then nothing and then i had sex this morning and now 3 and a half hours later i started bleeding. lighter than MY normal period but ive been done with my period for like 5 to 7 days now and im wondering what could cause this bleeding. i called the doc and im waiting for a call back. i had unclear margins in 2 areas could it be that she did not successfully remove everything with the leep? i really don want any more procedures so im trying to stay positive and get the facts rather then the stories. any help would be grately appreciated!

oh a lil info....the first 2 times i bleed after sex it was only during penetration and it was brownish red. and the bleeding today waited 3 and a half hours to show up and is red red not brown red or yellowish red. it is red red today. just waiting for them to call me back...

Oh Hun did they not tell you to wait for several weeks? I know after my CKC I can't have sex, swim, use tampons for 4-6 weeks.
I'm sure your cervix aren't healed yet.

i didnt see MY dr today but another one...he told me 3 weeks is usually sufficient for his patients. he said hes unsure whats causing the bleeding because he looked down there and said it didnt look like the bleeding was coming from the place where the leep was, but since there isnt much blood he says its not dangerous. he also commented on the positive margins from the leep results....i think its still there....dont what else would cause the bleeding..........any advice? new doc if second procedure is needed? anything like that?
