Oh yes, a lady I knew very well at my church had severe advanced colon/rectal cancer. She had surgery, chemo (which she had to stop, could not tolerate it) and a colostomy.

They delayed reattaching her and any other repairs, I personally think, because she was so bad.

5 Years later she is just fine. She recovered her health and appears to be doing very well.
