Does anyone know of an organization that may help in getting after care, I have no insurance, I work but do not qualify for any goverment programs. Had rcc 3 yrs ago and I am supposed to get Ct scans and see a doctor for 10 yrs for follow ups. I can't afford the CT scans.

Hello

Have you tried your county's social services ? They might be able to help you.

regards,
Leo

Thanks for answering. Yes Leo, I make too much they say to get assistace. You almost have to make 6.00 per hour to get any help there. I was with a hospital that rates you by income but my bills started really piling up I now owe them alot yet trying to pay off. I refuse to go until I get them paid off because they hound me. I pay a percent now but they tell me I need to put more on it. It is very frustrating. No insurance company will take you in Ohio if there was cancer and the open enrollment ones that will give me a qoute of 750.00 per month and that is still not full coverage.

I had one doctor here tell me to move out of state because Ohio is so bad, even doctors are leaving here because of high malpractice and the patients no insurance.

Something has to give here. I do worry about not getting my check ups but nothing I can do at this point. I have called cancer society, kidney foundation etc...

Thought someone here may have some info.
