My beautiful husband was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma in January of this year, and it had already spread to the lungs. His left kidney was removed. He is presently taking Avastin weekly, and I'm grateful to report that there are no new tumors in his lungs, nor any signs of cancer anywhere else in his body. Some of the existing tumors are shrinking, and some are not as responsive to the avastin. His doctor has suggested thalidomide. I've read all the material I can find on it, but still can't find any figures on how successful this product is. Does anyone have any info to share? Thank you very much.

Hello

Thalidomide can work for renal cell cancer. There is quite a bit of research about it.

best regards,
Leo
