Hello

Lymph node cancer, also called lymphoma is a very serious disease, some can be cured and some have little chance of being cured.

With that being, your chance of having lymphoma is very small, as opposed to this just being a lymphnode that is there. You should proceed with your consultation with your ENT, since this professional will be able to look at this area.

best regards,
Leo

Hello,
Well as for advice I would quit smoking. You may not have cancer, it could just be a lump of fat or some form of internal cyst, but why not let this scare have a positive effect, and quit smoking?

As for the rest, it looks like you did some research on WebMd or one of the other medical sites. Symptoms are very hard to use as a guide as to whether or not you have cancer. In my case I had no real symptoms, aside from symptoms that suggested I had a six month old son in the house ( being tired all the time, lack of sleep). So the best advice is to get the doctor and get checked out.

Good Luck,
Brian
