Has anyone experienced intense itching along with hives and little bumps and redness? Or itching and hives that develop from pressure on that area or a slight bump or scratch? Is the location of the itch indicative of anything?

Thanks. I'd really appreciate any input.

ChemoMan, I'm glad to see your confirmed remission.

A lot of chemotherapy patients develop some sort of rash along the way because their immune system is so compromised. Have you show it to your own medical team?

Hi So tired

To answer your question I have. There is a nasty rash on my legs that itches like crazy and my toenails have dropped off. I have eased the rash on my legs by putting on a water based moisturizing cream and the doctor also said the toenails were due to a fungal infection, so I am applying antifungal cream to them, but if it doesn't clear soon I will go to my GP for some pills.
I wouldn't be too concerned about this. Show the rash to your doctor, he might be able to suggest something, or you could try the water based cream. I was warned prior to treatment starting about the really dry skin and we were given creams to help in one of my support groups.

Thank you for your kind words they are appreciated. I hope you get the better of that rash soon and Good Luck in fighting the good fight.
