I was dx 8/02 with invasive ductal carcinoma and dcis. Elston Grade 3, hormone negative, HER2NEU 3+ Overexpression, dcis comedo necrosis, poor differentiated.

I found a lump in my armpit the other night and doc says it is a palpable mass. I'm scared .... wondering if anyone else has had experience with armpit lumps? Thanks.

Hi,
2002 sure wasn't our year to say the least. I've not found a lump, but going for my check up today and for some reason I've been hurting there. I'm thinking (something I try not to do) that when they remove all the lymph nodes, they would have gotten them from that area too, but I'm going to ask today.
Tell me your onco has scheduled a biopsy to see what's going on?
Keep us posted and will be praying for B9 whatever it is. Could it be an infection? I'm a firm believer after my dx and what I've learned, the only good lump/mass is one in a jar. I'd sure be having that biopsied.

Hi,

I emailed you earlier but just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and sending good thoughts and prayers for B9 your way. Also wanted to let you know that I had talked to another person a while back who had the same thing...went and had it biopsied and it turned out to be nothing. She did have to go ahead and have the lymph node removed though. So there is hope.
