Hi Cindy-- well, 2nd chemo down (Tuesday) and amazingly still feeling good today, Thursday. I thought today was to be the beginning of my bad days but so far so good. I sure do feel better than last time, so that shot must have really threw me for a loop! Anyway, I am now having to be quite carful germ-wise since I can't do the WBC booster shot. I'm told day 7-10 I should be at nadir and be reallllly careful, but I'm afraid to go out anywhere. I was going to do grocery shopping yesterday but didn't know if I should so sent my hubby who of course went hungry and spent way too much! LOL Anyway, how 'paranoid' should I be - can I do normal stuff the first week and then just stay put the 2nd? Thanks for thinking of me (and I am thankful for a 'good' day!) MB

Glad you have number two behind you and are fairing well. When I was going through chemo, I did everything like normal. I did my shopping, went out in public, worked around people and the public and I didn't have any problems, at all. Not saying you should, I was just probably bold and lucky. I did have quite a scare once, though. I was investigating a complaint and needed to enter a housing unit. Just as the manager was putting the key to the door, she told me the tenant was ill. Thank goodness I asked her what was wrong with her. She said "She has menningitis." just as we were about to walk through the door. God was certainly looking out for me. I backed up really fast and told her that menningits was so contagious and that I would not go in there. Anyway, wishing you the best for number 3. Take care of you.
