Not a jock... true story:
When I was first diagnosed, I was a full-time chaplain at the hospital where I was diagnosed and had my biopsy done. One of my assignments was the Intensive Care Unit. I had been there for 3 years. I was fully integrated into the staff; the staff thought of me as one of them.
After my biopsy, I was placed in the ICU for a couple of days. I am not sure why, but I was on a heart monitor. By the second day, I was OK and ready to move out to the regular oncology unit. One time that I needed a nurse, the nurse did not respond fast enough. So, I disconnected one of the wires to my monitor and rubber the end of the wire against the pad on my chest causing the pattern on the monitor screen to go wild… like I was having a heart attack. I could see the monitor tech responsible for watching the screens for all the patients. She jumped out of her chair and yelled for my nurse. But as she did that she looked over towards me and with fire in her eyes she said: “Chaplain Hawkins, don’t do that. You almost gave me a heart attack" .
Needless to say, my nurse came soon after that and also scolded me for my prank. I was moved to the floor soon thereafter .

One night, I walked into the Cardiac Care Unit looking very sad. When the monitor tech asked my what was wrong, I told her this story:
"My family and I were driving home from a visit to my inlaws and we met and ambulance going toward the hospital. At about the time we crossed eachother, I noticed a side little door on the ambulance open and something fall out. I stoped to retreave it and told my family to wait in the car but they got out anyhow. What I had seen fall out of the ambulance was a Igo Cooler. I was horrified when I opened the cooler at what I saw. The kids screamed and ran back to the car. It was so upsetting... it was someones big toe."
Pause.
Tech: "What did you do?"
Me: "I called for a big toe truck."
Another time I was almost killed in the hospital  .

ummm, alot i haven't been proud of...
when we were in primary school- year 3. umm, 9 yrs old. I put a thumb tack on this big bullys seat- well actually a handful. 
One night I was going for a drive to take my little brother to karate. I knew he was scared of the dark, a little. So i went out to wait by the gate. I was going to scare him to death, as it was a dark night and no lighting out back. So i waited, and waited. Then footsteps.... YAAAAAAAARRRR-
It was my dad! and lucky i was half he's hight or i would have had a shiner for a month. But guess he got me back, wacked me on the butt and told me to grow up... was around 10.
My little brother and I was upset that we had to stay home the night of new years eve. When our two older brothers could go out and stay up late. Again around 12-13 yrsold.
Mum and dad said we could camp in the back yard. So we set up tent, torch. then my little brother started to freak out a bit (wonder why huh?, with a mean sister like me) So we boggie traped the back yard. layed down rakes. Did a trip wire- of rope  lol. Then a million obsicles of items...
Then tucked into bed for the night..... dad decided to come check on us and say good night again. Wham!- guess the rake worked- on dad's groin.. he wasn't happy. So Clint and I had to clean up the yard, then bed.... Middle of the night, noises on tent. I freaked out, clint was still as a statue and wouldn't move an inch-" it's nothing- go to sleep"- while i'm sure he was peeing the sleeping bag. I Saw a shadow on the tent. then a object- wham a right punch... to my brothers nose. 
Clint and I pretended to cut his finger off. red finger paint and all. Put a sausage on kitchen counter... mum nearlly had a heart attack. She had him bundled in car ready for hospital and half sausage on ice.
we were buggers of kids.

I was brushing my hair one day- and as most of you know- it's horrorfying to see you hair come out. Well, my brush was full of hair. So.....
I pulled the hair out and rolled it into a oval. Then placed it under the t.v cupboard. Then a little later my husband was home, i said "OMG- what was that?"!!!.... i made him look under the t.v. then i sneaked up and went "SQUEEK" loud in his ear. It scared the crap out of him- he hates mice. LOL Not so sure if it was the hairy small thing- or me sneaking up and saying sqeek that scared him the most

Has anyone from the country seen a Bush Rat trap????
It's a mouse trap but giant. About a foot long. My dad knew Matt hated mice, so when he came to stay the night, one weekend. Dad set up one behind my bedroom door.
"Bloody big mice here matt, Look at the trap I had to get". I'm sure it was more to keep him out of my bedroom, than anything else.. But you should have seen his face. To this day- he still think it was real.

My eldest Brother broke a chair leg, by leaning back on the legs. We all new mum and dad would kill him- so he swapped the chair for dad's. That night Dad pulled chair out and sat.... On the floor.
To this day i don't think he knows what happened.
