I know some of you are going to be like WTF but I have not had a pap test in 8 years. this is because I was scared of the pain i had to go through each time i went. I was diagnosed with cancerous cells and had multiple procedures done like cryo. the last one which was 8 years ago and my pap came back normal 3 months after the procedure so i stopped going.

I have a bleeding disorder on top of this so i did not want to go through any more pain.

I have a pap appointment next month. I am so scared because years ago i was told this was a slow growing cancer and told my self i have time. I know this was wrong of me and I am hoping it has not returned. Now i understand that a little pain is worth it when it comes to my life. I am so mad at my self but I can't change the past.

I am hoping my cancer has not returned. my health has changed a bit this past year is why I am going in.

lashawn, I am very sorry about your health concerns. I will not say the obvious but I am glad that you are overcoming your fears and having a pap done. I to hope it returns clear of any abnormal cells.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so so sorry, to have just seen your post. Again I apologise.

It is good you are facing your fears and realising you need to get this looked at. Pain is nothing if we live. (to a certain degree- i know).
