mich32, you are the second person within a week that has posted about PNET... the first time I have ever heard about this cancer. I did move your post to the brain cancer forum. I hope that the two of you can support each other and learn together about this rare form of brain cancer.

The link to the other person's story is:

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello Mich....so sorry to hear about your sweet mother. P-NET is so unique, there is very little info on this type of cancer. My daughter-in-law has just been diagnosed with (pheriphal) P-NET which means it is NOT in the blood, brains or bones. It looks more like Ewings. Her mass measures 15 x 121/2 inches! Located in her lower stomach. Cannot operate as mass is wrapped around a major artery going to the small intestines. She's only 22...
The main thing I think is to stay postive! She is scared and there are alot of unknowns. We are all believers in the healing that can only come from our Lord and Savior so PRAY! God will hear you! I will pray for you and yours for a complete recovery...hang in there!
