Hi everyone, im an 18 years old male who usually has good health (i excercise a lot) and lately for the last week or so ive started feeling a strange pulling pain in my upper abdomen slightly to the right side as though its swollen like rock, and whenever i eat food it seems to swell a lot and hurt. The pain is very weird like a hard dull swelling pain, and feels quite hot at times.

Also ive been feeling sick and yesterday i tried to make myself sick to get rid of the pain but nothing would come up. I also feel very weak in myself like im lazy all the time.

For a long time before this ive been suffering from extreme rumbling in my stomach which has been loud enough for everyone around me to hear clearly and sometimes i will burp for no reason although this has only been occasionally.

Is this just a normal virus? or should i get it checked out with my doctor?

Im worried my doctor may think im stupid because last week i went with a lump up my nostril and she gave me some nasal infection cream for it due to me having a bacterial infection, and now on top of having the stomach symptoms, i have pain in my whole nose which will be hard to explain and might seem suspicious to the doctor.

JoshJG, it does not really sound like cancer, but whatever it is, you should have it checked by your own doctor. I always think, better the doctor think I am "stupid" than he pronounce me dead (my version of "better safe than sorry).

get it checked out. my girlfriend, supposedly a flu virus caused a hole in her stomach. it was hurting for a two weeks with some stomach medication. she got it checked out and its cancer and shes 21. we're both in college and we both work out. you can never be too sure now a days.
