Hello questions questions..

Hello, I hope this post isnt too long but i wanted to give a clear picture of my situation and history so that anyone professional could have some sort of idea of my background.

I am hoping i do not have this disease. But history is my mom has the slow moving lymphoma after surviving breast cancer and colon cancer for over 15 yrs. She then got diagnosed with lymphoma about 10 yrs ago.
She is a very courageous survivor and im so proud of her. She never has taken any chemo either. Im so blessed to have her still here.
So here is my info:

I went to the doctor in Jan. for a this slight sore throat prob and to get my thyroid checked He gave me clindamycin and i didnt take it cause I dont like to take things if they have side effects that could mess with your stomach or diarhea

I went back 2 weeks later for test results of bloodwork and they said thyroid was low and i also got ZPack for ear throat again. Also at this time redid throat for strep test and that was negative.
Then they also increased my meds from 175 to 188mg levothyroxine
my blood work looked all clear. I had some anemia 1 yr ago but blood was fine they said. Cholestrel fine and only issue they said was the thyroid
Anyway,
I took the antiobiotics but altho the redness in tonsill went away some it still there lingering.
I have noticed that my tonsill is still enlarged and there is a small extra anomolie just to the back of tonsil assuming part of the swelling (i had pointed this out to the physician when i went in they said nothing about it).

I have had alot of post nasal drip problems which i live in the desert and havent had it as bad here as before in california.
Now sorry this is long winded but wanted to explain situation and why now i am worried it could be lymphoma or even thyroid cancer.

But since then i have started to get slight achey feeling on my collarbone area where i have felt a small mass. when pushed on it is tender. Lymph node?
I have no real feel of any solid bumps anywhere in neck or collar but yet i feel some of my lymph node areas are tender.

Incidently i had my annual mamogram in fact like end of january. Darn those hurt. And it was all clear.

To make things worse I cant just go back to the doctor right now due to the fact my husband lost his job 2 weeks ago. His job closed.(compusa went out of business ) so there went our insurance .. now im faced with possible tests and problems with no insurance and i cant go in til i get some or it could be considered a pre existing condition? dont know.

Anyway i came here looking for some support maybe answer some of the puzzling symptoms i have. Tho i know nothing is concrete til you have tests and diagnosis.
Could this be lymphoma beginnings? symptoms wise. Should i be so worried ?
List:
1 Swollen right tonsil slight redness on it. slight white patchy on back of throat on right.
2 Sinuses very dry (in desert usually are) Inner right ear pain deep
like near the tonsil.
3 Slight Pain in right neck area. ( No real headache no fever)
4 Right collar bone lymph area mass tender when pressed on.
5 Slightly fatigued.
6 Pain under the shoulder blade when pressed feels very sore and tender. (i have tho slept on my back only with pillows under back for 16 yrs.)
7 No pain when deep breathing. (maybe a twinge on that shoulderblade at times)
8 Slight pain also in right breast cleavage area (also lymph?)
9 No left side pains
10 Skin color seems fine no patches of red no itchy skin.
11 Pain in side (probably unrelated) topical pain when touched to
skin area right side like a muscle pull but very topical doesnt
feel deep like as if you have been bruised but there is no bruise
12 slight coughing always dry but i have had that for ages(meds i take can cause it i hear plus allergy plus dry desert air)
13 just noticed mass soft small against thyroid area not tender right side.

I forgot to add that this could possibly be from an absessed molar? back in jan. when just before the sore throats started. I had a very bad molar toothache. I cant afford root canals and i need that tooth that is capped already to chew. i was reading more stuff and its possible that is causing symptoms. I can not take the clindamycin no way i cant mess with my stomach getting sickened. 15 yrs ago i had IBS. Havent had that in so very long so i sure dont want to get it back.
I decided i will pay 80.00 to go to the doctor and demand them give me some antiobiotic that is NOT a threat to my stomach.

I was thinking that I could have some sort of bacterial infection can cause some swelling in those lymph nodes but with my genetic history i feel a bit worried.

mistidawn, I am so sorry for your health concerns. Obviously, without further tests there really is no way to know for sure but it does not sound like lymphoma to me. I wish you could go back to your doctor for further tests. Can you afford to pay for the COBRA insurance that your husband is qualified for? They will cover you regardless of whether or not it is a preexisting condition because it is just a continuation of the insurance he had while working for Compusa.

In the mean time, you are in my thoughts and my prayers.

Thanks for the comment and well wishes.
Today saw my same doc i dont really like him but the clinic is open for walk ins 7 days a week and no appt necessary. been going there for about 4 yrs so they have my files etc .. diff doctors are in the office but i usually end up seeing same one. He is like more interested in talkin about other things in the world then discussing the problems.
However he told me the pain in my shoulder is probably a pinch nerve there is a big nerve where i showed him it hurt. he felt the lymph nodes looked in ears and throat and said ya diffinitely an infection but get to the dentist so they can see if there is absess. Meanwhile since i won take the clindmycin which he was not happy when i told him i am not taking it cuz of the colitis affect. he gave me amoxicillin and told me to come back about my thyroid blood test from increase onmy meds as the test was high so they had to increase the dosage. I told him about the lymphoma in my family but he wanted to know what one it is and my mom doesnt even know she is 87 and doesnt remember technical names.
So anyway Thank you for the well wishes and i will keep this post updated if i do have any more issues. Thanks so much again for answering

Just an update. Cant get into dentist this week but am on amoxicillin. it seems to be helping, my issues. Im hoping that all this is just from abcess tooth which the doctor didnt think it was anything else after looking at my bloodwork that was done last month. thanks for reading and understanding of my fears.
