here is my pathology report:
TISSUE SUBMITTED:
endometrium, curettings/ biopsy-d& c

GROSS DESCRIPTION:
the specimen consists of soft red tissue fragments and blood clots
making a total aggregate of approximately 3 ml. the entire specimen
is embedded.

DIAGNOSES:
uterine curettings: polypoid endometrial hyperplasia, with
multifocal atypia.

COMMENT:
the changes do not warrant the diagnoses of in situ carcinoma.
however, close follow up and/or consideration of hysterectomy should
be entertained.

now, like i said she removed a polyp, and scraped out the lining,
then sent it all to pathology. now, anyone who has any idea what all
of this means, please, let me know.
thank you all so much.

jotay02, the pathology report sound good to me; they did not find any cancer. However, they are still concerned enough to thing you need close follow-up because of the existing polyps. Your doctor may or may not talk to you about having a hysterectomy at this time.
