| im 18 yrs old male. about four months ago i started having some difficulty breathing and more symptoms have continued since then. I have had bloodtests, an EKG, pulmonary function tests, chest x rays, a cervical lymph node biopsy nad they have all come back negative. Now my doctor is sending me to a nuerologist. since the breathing problems, i have had strange problems with my eyes, theyre not blurry but when im in a light room or when im walking around somewhere my vision just seems weird idk how to describe it. also my hands shake sometimes and espcically when i flex a muscle it is very shaky. i have had more dreams as of late but idk if some of these symotims are just me worrying wayy too much. i rly hope it is not this serious and i dont nessecarily think it is but any feedback from soemone who knows more would be greatly comforting!!! |

Hey there, I am also being reffered to a neurologist.
What you describe in the lighted room setting seems very similar to what i am going through.
I feel strange/disconnected from myself. Asif i am looking from a different perspective i would describe as a silent movie, or flash frames. Things don't seem as "real" around me. This is even worse in a lit room, Infact i feel so wierd i have to eat my dinner inside my room with the lights off sometimes. Along with all my other symptoms of weight loss, systematically swollen lymph nodes, etc, The neurological symptoms are by far the most deliberating because i just cant function normally anymore.
My appoint is in a few days. I will keep you updated.
Good luck.

mdavis237, I am very sorry for your current health concerns. Since my cancer did not have any of the symptoms you are having, I have no frame of reference to use to help you. The brain is an awesome organ and if anything is wrong with it, it is possible to have many types of symptoms. Keep working with your medical team to identify what is wrong.
umbleweed, good luck with your neurologist appointment.
Both of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Keep us updated. _________________ Jim

| thank you both for you rrepsonses. i am probably going to have an mri next week which will either tell me something or put my mind at complete ease (hopefully the latter) but i went to the eye doctors and they said that my pressure? is good and nothing is abnormal which is a good sign for the brain right?? anyways my eyes feel like they cant focus and just daze off thru stuff, but i have no vomiting sometimes my stomach hurts after i eat only usually. idk its rly frustrating but idk its hard to think i could have a brain problem what do u guys think??? |
