I think this is the right place to post this. It looks promising. I pray it is.

Would like to request that I can post on the melanoma fourm.

Thanks Jim

There is alot of information on this out there and all seems to be very creditable.

Thanks Jotto, it seems like positive information. The only thing that bothers me about this stuff is that it's always old information. Everytime I get an email or see a thread about something like this it's from 2005 or earlier. Is this because they are still in the middle of the first trials or what?

Confused

This person is currently doing this, and has links to other sites that are actively recording the results. She has alot of information. I already ordered some, it can't hurt. Everything I found was never looked at by a creditable instution. I wanted to have a second protocal to use along with diet, and the possible chemo.

Surgery tomorrow .... so I will be gone a couple of days.

Anybody have input on this stuff---Brainman, Jim Hall, etc...

Jotto, you just ordered some and are just going to start taking it? How far along is your Melanoma? Metastisized?

The spot on my arm was called stage IV by the doctor, removed within the margins. The SLN showed 9 bad cells, which made me have to go in to remove more tomorrow.

That is all I know at this point.

Being a vitamin I don't think it would be a problem, but I will discuss this with the doctor. I will be able to start on this a week before I meet with the other doctor. I am already taking flakseed oil, vitamin C and a multivitamin with the approval of the doctor.

See all the links I posted are now gone, but if you go to MD Andersons site, look under Melanoma Information and on the right side is the article on curcumin.

There are 2 clinical trials going on right now but since I can't post the link since it will be deleted, but if you look at trials its listed there.

MD Anderson seems to be quite reputable. I contacted Sloan - Kettering for a second opinion for my mom and they suggested MD Anderson.

I think you can take it that the M.D.Anderson Center is highly reputable and a leader in cancer research and care.

There is an article on Matria Healthcare which I am not going to post, but that you can search for. This site does have pop ups. I use a browser called Opera that is free to everyone and blocks the pop ups.
