My husband was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer (non operable) last May, after falling ill in the Febuary.
We were told it was non curable and he could only have paliative care with chemo if he was fit enough. We were told his life expectancy was perhaps 1 year.
Being scared and in shock we went to check-out natual medicine in India. In the August we realised his lung was filing up with fluid and he had to go to the hospital for conventional medicine.
The hospital drained 1.5 litre but it was refilling within a week. The hospital gave him an operation to try to stick the lining of the lung to stop the fluid, which worked.
Next was chemo time. He now had a 26cm tumour in left lung and it had now spread to the right with secondry cancer to the bone.
We prayed and asked our friends and family to also pray for my husband.
My husband had chemo one day and then it was repeated 3 weeks later, again after another 3 weeks. Then he had a scan where the tumour had reduced from 26 to 15cm and we were told the right lung was now clear.
The chemo was started for another course of 3 times and then another scan.
With Gods blessing we were told yesterday from his Oncologist my husband has NO CANCER! That it was now gone!
We were given a copy of the scan and told that chemo is stopped but they will give an Xray in March to check that it is still clear and there is no live cancer cells floating about. He then is to have another scan in the April.
I never gave up believing that there there must be something that can be done somewhere? It was just finding it. I used to search the internet for hours, day and night.
I bought vitamins B17/A/C and enzymes which were given to him at regual intervals.
I believe with Gods help, natual medicine and chemo all working together we have become fortunate for a second chance.
From stage 1V to 0 is quite unbelievable.
Please don't give up to this awful illness, keep hope and pray.

Hi koikkeril. Yes, the moral of your story is to never give up hope. Thank you for sharing your husband's amazing story.

Best wishes.

Since writing this I have learnt so much from this site, so many wonderful, brave and sharing people. You are all so much in my thoughts and prayers. I realise now there is no cure and that my husband has at present no evidence of disease. Gods blessing to all of you.

koikkeril,

Don't forget that NED (no evidence of disease) is HUGE!!

Many people never attain that level of success with late-stage disease, so take it and have hope! NED is a good thing!

There are always those small percentage of late-stage fighters who do survive and we always approached it as "why can't my husband be one of them?"
