CHRISTMAS MORNING-

Woke up as a "bah humug" Twisted Evil Tired, cranky and out of sorts. But it was quickly forgoten, watching hunter run up the hallway saying "santa, santa! '. "Oh wowowow"..... All he dreams come true - i think. We never go overboard- but what he had he loved.

Spent the morning doing all sorts of build and stick jobs. The jobs , i'm sure Santa should do BEFORE morning. Wink

Then off we go to another house....another full plate of food Shocked I shouldn't complain- family, love, laughs and the occassional tears. But all in all a great few days.

I received some beautiful and thoughtful gifts. I have this cute heart with a swinging crystal in the centre. Its on my computer desk- shining and bathing me in glints of driffernet colours. magical.

night all xoxox

Hunter is well and truly out of sorts, think he is teething. He is sick of the routine being mixed up. Late nights, Late naps, and early mornings. we'll try to seetle him in the next few days, back to the usual routine- should be fun. Rolling Eyes

Off to another visit....

oooo- Shocked

Been a few days. today, umm, SATURDAY-

wow, how time flies....Well our Christmas was great, though very tireing- like everyones I'm sure. Hunter was so overwelmed, all he liked was a cheap blow up beach ball, that we got free with a bath toy. Wink Arr well, kids are kids.

We had a great time, food, laughter, crankiness....Arrr Christmas- got to love it. Wink

Yesterday I spent the whole day building the Garage into a playroom for Hunter. I put carpet down, and as the room is already painted a blue- it just looks like another room. I put curtains up and throw every toy imagineable in there. Much to the husbands surprise it looks great- another story there- (how come guys think that everything is going to fail- or look bad- or not work- because they have to do a little work????)
Killed the back- but was worth the look on Matt's face (when he got home from work)- and of course Hunter's "OH, WOW! " Very Happy

Well New Years is Upon us. Normally we head to my Brother's and wife's House for swimming, drinking and being merry- but as they have now got a 6 week old baby, change in plans. Another stroy- (funny how things change, When we had hunter, we had to travel to my brothers House for Australia Day- ummm, 2 weeks old Rolling Eyes We would have to cart everything, for weekends there. My brother would have all these amazing ideas- such as picnics, walking for miles, playing tennis in the middle of the heat etc... and would push me into coming- "don't want to change your life style for a baby" etc. Hahaha- His wife would stomp around the house, slamming doors, yelling out to others outside etc....See- funny how things change.....) Anyway- i think we are going to have a quite on at home- when i say quite still 10-15 people around for the night. But we'll play games, drink, chat. It'll be great.

Hunter's 2nd Birthday is on the 8th of January- i know Razz stupid on our part- BUT he was meant to be a Febuary baby- Anyway- I have gone to alot of trouble. Disney "Cars" plates, cups, napkins etc. Black and White checkered flags, spare tires everywhere (lets hope no one in my whole family gets a flat Wink ) Matchbox cars and gold metals in lollie bags etc. Should be a great afternoon- (5th)

well thats all from me for now. xoxox Inica

SUNDAY- Well, back to work this week-

Feels like i had three weeks off work- (instead only a few days)...
You know 1 week holiday- not enough, 2 weeks- perfect, 3 weeks- you never want to go back. Wink

I'm not looking forward to going back, I know the pressure will be on. My bosses wife would like to ease up on some of the work (i totally understnad) and the girl i job share with is moving- so all on me now....
I'm a total push over. If there is a job no one else will do- ask me. If someone wont work a holiday- ask me. If you just feel like a day off, and need someone to cover, ask me.....Well after having Hunter I have been able to stick to my guns a little- well Embarassed i had to. No care available and with him being/still sick- i can't do any more.

SO- watch-out! I'm sticking to mu guns (well ill try)

anyway night all xoxox should be in bed.

Well since us Aussie's get The New Year before you Americans etc.... I Should let you know- that there is space and hover cars, pathways that move while you stand, meals made in a machine- you just ask for what you want....umm, oh, and little green men come to visit. Laughing Laughing

Spent a exciting- Razz New Years Eve night at my Mum and Dad's house. We played a wii game (some playstation game, or something) had fun doing that. Kinda like realaity game- You can play 10 pin bowling etc, and you have to actual throw this control as if the ball- Fun...And I didn't make it till New Year.

OK- so a few tiring days of painting and cleaning for Hunter's Birthday Party. I stayed up all night last night making a Birthday cake.....OK- who made up the bloody "good Mum" rule?????About making your chuildren a birthday cake Wink

I had this brainy idea of making a cake that is a Car. Funny how excited you get and how it turns out having wheels and mirrors and flames up the side etc....Till you try to make it- I say TRY again.

The cake ended up as two cakes. One on top of the other. (turned out to be a monster truck) Then i thought i'd turn the two cakes into two cars instead. So i had to build and cut this cake so it had a bonnett and a boot. Well Rolling Eyes
Then the red cake turned into a hot orange/pink car. (who knew to make red red- you'd need at least 4-5 food colourins- i had used the only 3 i had)- Luckly as it set in the fridge it turned more orange red. The other blue. I wasn't worried- the other Mums get to take the kids home after Razz Plus i could cut that off the peice i give hunter.

so then the details- no great ideas of lights and mirrors etc. just a windscreen made of licorice, freekles as tires, mashmellows as mirrors and must sticks as lights..... Shocked So the good ideas worked, after about 3 hours of working out how to do them.

Then chaos- kids running, screeming, yelling. While my angel Wink sat and played cars on the floor. quitely (mind you all night before and morning he was pure demon) shhhh.

So that was our day- now after two days of vaccuming, cleaning and making sure everything was perect. I have all day tomorrow to do again. (icing, sprinkles, and god knows what squished, sqwashed and trud into the carpet) _ another Mum's rule- Why clean and make everything perfect- when you have to do it again after they go ??????

Anyway Saddie (the clreaning lady) is off to bed. Need the Beauty Sleep Wink

Wednesday-

I'm well- just so everyone knows im ok. Just been busy with Hunter and new work hours/days.

I have finished hunter's mural- 34 hours or something like that. ALOT of cars, truck, tractor etc. A little boys dream Razz (well we hope- not going to do that again in a long time)

We had a kids party for hunter, with around 10 kids. He had a ball, was showing all of them his playroom, and pointing out all the cars. I have no idea why i cleaned up the house.....nextime- i'm going to do a quick tidy- then leave then clean up for after the party.

NOTE: red and blue icing- and children not a great mix. Razz Who would have known the fruit salad and vegie sticks would be a total waste of time, when you have potaote chips and lollies... Wink

( i know, i know- i'm learning) lol

well thats about it for now. Just trying to spend some quality time with hunter. getting him into a good rutine again with bedtime and sleep. Wink

xoxox night all.

I have been really slack i know. Embarassed Sorry everyone.

I have been unusually tired. I have work issues, and day and hour changes which have thrown my routine. Hunter is trying his best to be put up for adoption. Razz My own health on top of Hunter's health issues..... Hunter goes in for a small operation on the 11th. I'm petrified about it. silly i know.

ummm, so whats been happening in the life of Inica- other than down stuff. (something homouress.....)

Had a client- annoying client- who bugs me, but i grin and act all sugar and sweetness.... complain. Get this, this client is always 10 -15min late. I squeeze her in all the time at the last minute. Even my lunch breaks...anyway. she pops in 15min late for her appointment. I take her in and she complains how she couldn't get in with me on Christmas eve.

I smiled, and said "sorry Mrs X, but Christmas eve is always booked solid in advance, I could always fit in 10, 15 min. But not your usual hour appointments"... she goes on and on about it- how she thought that "at least SHE thought SHE would have been fitted in somewhere" "well i went else where INICA!" etc. Anyway after 15 min of her appointment time listening to her say all this. I finally cracked-

"well Mrs X- It mustn't be a very good business if they were quite enough on Christmas Eve to fit a hour appointment in." (ha) Razz

Anyway i walked her out to her Hairdresser, sat her down, made her a coffee. Her Hairdresser was giving me "the eye" and tapping her watch. I was 5min late- WELL- i was actually 10 min early for the hairdresser. I had only spent 45min of mrs x's 1 hour app. (and she was 15minutes late).

Well she rang and abused my boss, for me ripping her off 30min of her treatment time and charging her. so as you can guess they abused me....I told them what had happen and then told the boss, under no more circumstance will i ever. EVER fit her into my lunch break- stay back for her, or come in on my day off as a faviour for her. I then rang This mrs X and told her i was terrably sorry- i had mistaken her app time, and had taken 10-15 min off her treatment. I will give her those minutes free when she next books.

well she then went on and on about it. I then said quitly and carmly- Mrs X- you know me, i give you samples, i do you faviours when i know you are going out for the night, and stay back to help you. I would never intentionally do this....I AM SORRY. and i will fix it nextime you are in. THANK you for your understanding, bye now...

Twisted Evil

On a funnier note- i had a guy come in asking for a genitial massage. Exclamation An African American ask for a tan, and a client wanting her 1 week old baby girl to have it's ears pierced- so people will know she is a girl-

(TAKE HER OUT OF A BLUE OUTFIT- YOU FREAK. AND IN PINK!!!!)

Laughing

Well....maybe i should change this to in the WEEk of a Inica. ?????

sorry guys- sure you know what it is like. Family, kids, illness of the kids, and then yourself, work and work and work. Rolling Eyes

So it's Saturday. Whats been happening to me.....

Well, work is hard. Had a girl i job share quit- which now means more pressure on me to do more, work more, more hours, more days, MORE.... So at the moment i'm dragging myself out of bed and soooo not looking forward to work- or seeing the bosses.

Hunter has been slowly whining off his medications. first the adult bowel one. all ok. Little tummy pains, but still ok. Then we took off one adult relux medication... ok. Some wind and vomiting, but not too sad or sick or pain. But now the bowel is playing up again- so back on half does of bowel medications....now droped the other adult reflux med to every second day- instead of every day. and BAM

Screaming, all night ALL night! After a hour of sleep and laying still...around 10ish. he starts, and goes till around 4ish 5ish....then of course he sleeps for a hour or two . then up for the day.

During the day - perfect- if a little whingy and tired. But a good boy. Sems when he has to sit- travelling, and of a night- when still the pain builds and hits with a vengence..... We have to see the specialist at the end of febuary- so it's going to be a tough month or so. With work so busy too.
I finally cracked after 4 nights of hell. and work- i sent hunter out to mum's and Dad's so i could have a few hours to myself and sleep a little. Plus do some normal things like shower and change- oh, and do teeth. Rolling Eyes and washing....anyway Wink still kicking, just.

Hunter has also have to have a operation on the 11th of febuary. I'm a little scared- and worried for him. My baby is having a opp. Shocked (though a day sugery, and quite a common and simple procedure) I'm a wuss. Wink

The weather here is warm and sunny, and blue skys. For the first time in a long time- some years, some decent rainfall. (well here anyway) Still drought out west and High north.

well thats about it for now- Hopefuly i will post a bit more regular. Wink

night/day all xoxox

(Hi all)

OMG OMG OMG OMG.

Hunter slept the whole night through!!!!! yaay! (just so you know- i'm punching the air and wiggling my 2 ton butt in a fairly scary dance) Razz

He went down around 8.20 with no problems, no worries. He woke at 7. Shocked Of course i didn't sleep a wink- but i guess at least i didn't have to get up and down all night. I'm hoping for the same tonight- fingers crossed.

We went to a party out of town today. a 3 yrolds party. It rained, and the party was outside- (who has a kids party outside- even if it's raining- why not move it inside or umm, garage or something). anyway. I wasn't prepred for outside. Hunter has a flu and been sick. and here he was in warm clothes, but 10min of light rain was wet through. Mud everywhere. could have been a mud fight wrestling ring, after 15min. The kids loved it, but the clothes didn't- oh, did i mention the NEW WHITE shoes.... Wink

anyway- time for dinner, and hunter's stories.

night all. xoxox

ok- Monday spoke to soon.

Jason, brother, lives nextdoor. Started his Harley, less then 10 feet from hunter's bedrrom window- Twisted Evil at 12.20 middle of the night - or should i say morning. (i had just got him down too).

Needless to say I told him off. (which i never do- but really!) Selfish ........

Hunter has been crying since...sick, pain, and totally due to be sold on E-bay. Wink

anyway- got to go. (pulls hair out.)

Wednesday- Hunter has now screamed day and night- but worse and more of a night. for the last 4 days.

Rang specialist and decided to put him back on ALL of his meds. Which is a few. But at least this way we can determine if it's reflux or bowel.

Yesterday I spilt 2 litres of hot, liquid, sticky wax, on the floor of my beauty room. Wasn't a pretty sight- or easy to clean up. Twisted Evil Today had to argue and fight for my rights to have something to eat, and have a break. (thanks to the new Aussie work placement laws) i was getting sick of not having any lunch breaks- or even 5 min to sit and relax- breath and stretch....now it's a fight for everything.

Beautiful day in The Land Down Under. Warm sun, birds chirping, light breeze, blue skys- Thinking of you all in USA. Wink
