Hi, I'm 17 years old, and i have recently noticed a small bump on my skin. Im unsure of wether it is cancer or not, it is a little bit red, and it looks and feels just like where my grand father had cancer on his arm. I want to give it a few days to pass and see if it is possibly a zit or ingrown hair. i just noticed it today and have never noticed it before.

I'm not exactly sure why im posting it here, but maybe for some advice ofwhat to do or how to define wether it is cancer or not. yes I will make a doctors appointment as soon as possible if it doesnt go away in the next few days.

Hi - you have done the right thing. It is probably something quite normal, but let us know what is decided.

I think you should not wait only because sometimes it takes weeks to see a doctor. So go ahead and schedule the appointment. If this spot goes away on its own, you can always cancel. I hope that it is nothing.
