Has there been any studies done on lifestyle choices as being a cause to (some) cancer? I've always wondered if reversing living habits for an extended period of time could "cure" cancer naturally.

Here is, from what I've read, to be some cancer causers:
- Genetics (of course)
- Poor Diet
- Lack of Physical Activity
- Mental Stress
- Pollution (i.e. air, water)
- Various Chemical Exposure (e.g. plastics)
- Irregular Sleeping Patterns
- Limited Outdoor Living

If one were to purge one's self of these causes for an extended period, do you think it's possible that cancer, in early to mid-stages, could go away?

I've never seen any studies done into this (as of yet). I just think doctors scoff at it as some kind of homeopathic type remedy. But if somebody's hand is in a fire, isn't the easiest way to stop a burn is to remove the hand?

I would think in after reading your information- that to remove a hnad, is to remove the effected area- such as surgury..

Where as to step away from the fire would be to prevent..

?? who knows maybe in another 20 years (or hopefuly soon) they will work it out.

There was an interesting book written in the 1900s by a man who was diagnosed with colon cancer. He took a hard look at his life [sedentary, lots of meat in the diet, very little vegetable matter] and decided to change it. He took to walking in a big way and altered his eating habits to increase his intake of vegetables, reducing meat to occasional meals, increasing his intake of fish and eggs.

After five years the doctors could find no trace of the cancer.

It is an unproven situation, but there is anecdotal evidence that controlled diet and proper physical exercise does help the system, so it is resistant to cancer development.

Cancers can disappear.
