I would like to share information, from traditional Chinese medicine pharmacopoeia, about usage of herbal medicine.

Using herbs, especially for complicated disease like cancer, we should use in cocktail as a formulation. It would be much better than using as single herb.

The advantage is as follow:
1. More potent and more effective
: herbs in leading and assistant group would
work together and support each other

2. More safe
: herbs in detoxified group would detoxify
any possible contained toxic compounds

3. More accurate
: herbs in carrier group would lead the
formulation to the target

This is close to Advertising, be careful.

I would like anyone thinking of using ANY of these to ask medical team, Dr's , specialist etc, before use of these.

(I will be watching this and future posts)

Anyone read on site administration's comment would have negative impression for my post. Is it fair for me?

I have already qouted that this concept is depend on knowledge of TCM. It's not a nonsense.

It's my willing to share my knowledge. It is not necessary for me to claim that I am a professional. Anyone that have knowledge in this field would recognize it but not you. Do you want only nonsense post, not academic one?

Let me explain more. From Shennong Materia Medica, it classified herbs in formulation into 4 groups:
1.Leading Group : provide major action

2.Assistant Group : provide supporting action

3.Detoxified Group : control any possible toxicity

4.Carrier Group : provide target along meridian channel

So the formulation would do better than single herb. This is my conclusion from my study and experience.

Again, it should get respect on my comment since this is a fact from TCM theory.

Unless you are a trained and registered herbalist, I am afraid I would be very cautious about what you may suggest. Herbs are tricky things, and need careful handling. They may be beneficial, but they may also have adverse effects.

Chinese herbs are more difficult still as so often it is not easy to find out what the actual plant is.
