That my Dad was diagnosed with PC. He is now in Hospice Doctors say it can be anyday now and I dont know what Im gonna do as soon as he finally rests. Im a strong believer in a divine force (God) but I just want him to rest now. He is hurting and he still wants to somehow be "well".
The family consists of Mom Dad & I, I know that he is going to be ok, and that God will have him soon, but I just dont know what Im gonna do without him, Its just too Fast!!! He didnt even see this coming. Im sorry that Im posting this, but I know you guys can relate and maybe I can get some support from you guys. Thanks.

Abel & Abel.

Dear Abel
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's illness. Am very, very sorry to hear you are all suffering because of this. MY prayers & thoughts are with you, especially now. My heart is aching knowing you are going through this very difficult time.
I pray that you will continue to feel God's presence with you all, I pray you will receive God's grace. I pray you will have lots of love & support from your family & friends, that will help you to carry on through these terrible days, weeks.
Facing the death of a loved one is probably the most difficult thing you will have to do & having your Dad's illness take him so quickly will be devastating for you.
I lost my Dad 2 yrs ago & his suffering toward the end, it still makes my heart ache, when I recall it. We were all relieved & praising God for his Grace, when he finally passed as we knew he was released from his suffering & had gone to be with our Lord.
I know you will come through all this darkness & eventually the clouds will lift to reveal & new day, without the heartache. My heart is light again recalling all the lovely memories of my Dad from our lives together.
We are here to support you in anyway possible. We are a close community on this forum, offering support, comfort & insight into our own experiences.
May God bless you.
Cheers, Aussie Angie.

Dear Angie,

Thank you for your prayers and kind words. It has been so hard for us, especially for my Mom since she ha sbeen there from the begining of this. My Dad really never saw this coming, none of us did. However he is such a strong person and such a fighter, his optimistic attitude towards this disease has been amazing, just like always. "everything is gonna be ok" that what he always says and always has. Sometimes I would even get mad because I knew that it was not going to be ok, but somehow his positive attitude has always been like that. I cannot recall him ever taking a sick day from work, he is just that type of person that just keeps going.

I pray that the lord will have mercy on him as Im sure that one day I will be with him once again up above. He has suffered tremendously throughout this whole situation, but I know that his suffering is not in vain, he will soon be free from this and he will be watching over me and my mom!

Thanks for your prayers, but please direct them on behalf of my dad. Please pray that for God to carry him (Abel) and allow him to rest peacefully in heaven.

I love you Dad!!

Abal9, I am very sorry about your father's cancer although I am not really sure what kind of cancer he has (PC is commonly used for Prostate Cancer and Pancreatic Cancer). I assume by how quickly he has gotten so sick that it is Pancreatic Cancer because it is usually the worst of the two.

I know how hard it was for me to see first my mother (over nine years ago) and then my father (Sept 2006) die of cancer. I was with both of them at the time the died. I encourage you to spend as much time with your father as you can. Try to find ways to bring some degree of peace and joy into your father's life.

My thought and prayers are with you and your father.

Thnaks Jim, I appreciate your kind words, Unfortunatley his last wish was to be flown back to Mexico and spend his last days there.
I cannot go back to Mexico for certain things at this moment, so that makes it harder than what it is.
I do appreciate all your prayers and God bless. I will stay in touch with this forum as I plan to contribute as much as I can.

It is Pancreatic Jim.

I am very sorry Abel9 that you will not be able to be with your father. I do understand his wish to be back where he was born. It is just so sad that you cannot go with him.

Abel9,
I have been following your and Father's story. I'm sadden that you are un able to travel with your Father home. It is sad he wants to go, but also his wish- as i know you understand. I believe that with your understanding you will be fine- even if you do not go. As you know Gods wis, and your Dad's eventual peace.

I'm thinking of you all, and wish there is some way you can be there...

Thanks to all of you for your warm wishes and your understanding. It is a sad situation for the entire family, however I respect my fathers desire.
I mean that is all I could do and I know that God will look after him.

Thanks.
