This probably wont be that interesting to you guys, but just wanted a rant and chat area....Feel free to reply, comment or say your own. lol
Plus thought would be fun.....
so today, Woke at my usual 2.30 Am (After no sleep that is) To the sounds of "mummy, mummmmmmmy, mummmmmmmmmmy! " (once upon a time, i was training Hunter to say this...... )
11Pm- As much as sometimes i wish he would sleep- i do love this time. I looked down at hunter laying across my whole body- once he would slumber in the crook of my elbow. Now. one shoulder to the other side of hip. I would kiss his soft hair, breathe in his smell. (the only chance for a cuddle this long or kiss) Brush his hair away form his face, Sing and then place him back in his bed. Tip toe out and sneak back into my own bed.
I lie down, and finally sigh with tireness- as the last few weeks have been work, work, work, and up with hunter most of every night- Then the train starts in my ear...You know one of those old steam trains that rattles and squeels, then crashes into each other..... The beauty of this train, is i can bash it.
Slap, bash, wack....silance....then it starts a new tune- whistle, gurgle, chooo..... I seriously plonder, how many years id get if i was to snuff this train out??? Couldn't i plead insanity? Sleep depriveation?? Surely if i had a women jury. ?
Then the little Angel / cross monster stirs.... i look, well sqwint- at the clock 2 Am....... ( did i say i love these times ) Looks like more secret cuddles and kisses.
So, around 8.00Am - feels like Lunch time. I get Hunter ready for DayCare, stare and the bags under my ears thinking maybe i could crawl in one and sleep.
Drop Hunter off and then come home with the day Planed...Mow lawns, garden, weed, etc......wet. we had some sort of strange thing happen last night- RAIN!!!! So plan B- house....thought i'd have a coffe break first to waken me up. Saw the computer on. Thought i'd just sit and have my coffe.....Ooo someone replied to +5-5, i better post back....
~Lord and behold~
my arse is stuck to the chair, been here for 2 hours. Can't feel my legs and think those bags have tripled in size. Making it so much harder to get up and move........ I might finally get to reply to some post, or do some admin work for Jim.
Nah.... I better do what i can while hunter is gone- Or hurricane Hunter we call him.
Hope you enjoy a bit of my life..... _________________ Thinking of you Inica

Yes it was beacause of you- lol.... I did absoultly nothing all day.
So I thought while the boys are away- i would jump in and have a longgg hot shower, make myself feel better. Peaceand quite..... TILL i was washing shampoo out of my eyes and screamed. Hunter had climbed in- fully dressed. And poked me in the tummy....when had he turned so quite??? Normally he is a hurricane loud and noisy.
So we had a usual quick shower together.
Then hunter thought he would share his dinner with the dog- by throwing it all over the room. (didn't realise dogs like bread buns?) Then came the throwing of toys- which i coped a car in the head. So i decided bed time....
WELL, Hunter was having this and decided to screem the house down. And make himself sick...... WOW looks like tonight is going to be fun.
(In Hunter's defence- he's not normally this bad, had daycare with a new mum, and still getting used to it)- BUT i don't condone this..I like disapline and want a Angel, like every mum wants.
Pretty funny (behind a hand or when you leave him in a hurry) because he has smaked his own hand- or made his way to the timeout spot himself...plus him telling himself off, in his own language
guess he really does know right from wrong. _________________ Thinking of you Inica

So. Today...
Was a bad start - to a bad day.
Ever have those days where you wake up and know. You know it's a day that is going to be bad, and stay bad all day?...
Today was "The One". Was up all night with Hunter- usual On top of that was "sick-ill" all night/morning (wont go into it here, on my link). So was feeling tired cranky, faintish, and just.....well like crap.
Had to get Hunter organised to take to my Mother-in-law's house...And this is a story in itself Mother-In-Law believes that cause she is the Nanny- she can do what she wishes with Hunter. (as she can hand him back)
It all started at about 3 months- Hunters first chcolate easter egg. , needles to say this was when we found out that chocolate = chocolate poo. And face and walls, and everything else he could vomit, or ...splater. Oh, and the start of Hunters allergies. No milk, cheese, yogurt, chocolate, biskets etc etc etc.
Anyway, short story. twisties= cheese and everything else in them. Peperoni = pain in the 4months!! tummy. Icecream = rash, allergies, screeming all night etc etc. (do you think she would get the idea- when i would pack his whole lunch box- and say nothing but whats in the box???) NO....
So, as you can imagine, i wasn't in the best mood. Showed up at work, Fully booked. Nearly fainted on my client. Good thing it was only a leg wax and not the bikini as well.... Did a fully body massage, and just closed eyes and let the hands wonder. Before you knew it she was asleep- and i was a close second.
Then had the Teenager from hell. It was her 21st, and she decided on this hair style- i'll call it "rat chewed off the ends, stiff as a board glue" style.
And she had no idea. She was 30min late. Wanted this syle- then hated it, and asked to be washed and blowave staright again 3 hours later and LATE- for her appointment with me for makeup...It was the last straw.
I told her to "Sit down! and trust me- as I'm the proffessional, and she is paying me to do MY job, If she wishes to do this herself, then by all means do so - so i can finally pick my son up, 4 hours after i was ment to! "
Grrrr- watch me when cranky. lol
(seroiusly- i have never been that unprofessional in all my life- but it could have been cause i was survivng on 2 litres of blood through my veins and feeling like death)
ANYWAY- Needless to say- she loved her makeup and gave me a great tip. She also Invited me to her party.
THEN as i had my bag and keys walking out the door. I had a guy ask me to do a xxx wax on him- (All below wax). I said we don't do it..he then started to rant and rave about discrimination, why do we do women and not men?? etc.
So- i said sure come in- i'll do it. But you'll have to sign a note saying I have no responsibility for lost of skin- skin removal, burning, Blisters, or if you lose a bit of a BALL (I actually said that ) Of course he said no.
Picked up Hunter, no sleep, no food, but chocolate oreios, and coke!!!!
So that was my day- My night is better.
Husband cooking, I'm in Jammies writting this, about to watch a movie. Then sleep.......
( and if the drugs knock out hunter- then a whole night of sleep)
joke of course _________________ Thinking of you Inica

SUNDAY-
So the drugs didn't work lol (didn't give him enough , i'll have to go back to Vodka. )
Hunter was only up a few times last night- but settled really quick. So it wasn't that bad. I had a ok night. (maybe cause the freight train feel asleep on the lounge) hehe.
Anyway, Hunter woke at 5.00 and feel back to sleep, didn't stir till 7.00AM YAAAY! (mind you- if any of you have slept through the day or overslept- then you'll know it makes you feel worse).
ANYWAY- to my surprise, hubbie got hunter up and tried to stop him from giving me "Hurricane cuddles"- you know the ones- The ones where they climb all over you, knees and elbows kicking in. A few fingers caught in the hair to make it more cuddly of course.
A dribbly wet kiss to seal the deal. (it sounds a little sick- but i love them. Drives me nuts when asleep- but i don't get many now, as the little baby is nearly a boy- 2yrold)
Then Hunter decides to play in the dogs water bowl, feed Bella' dog bits and of course teachers her to share them. As i finally pull my butt out of bed- I hear a noise..... A unusual noise.....A noise i never hear from a distance....... THE VACUUM ! (faints)
I think i have really made the freight train think i'm dieing for sure, What other purpose is there, for him to Vacuum ??? Is it a Blue moon?, Did an Alian come and take the old freight train??? (maybe tonight it wont even be a freight- maybe a passenger Train instead). OOOO and then the kitchen. OMG he knows where the dustpan is...the cleaner, the dishwasher! I must surely be in Heaven.
Now it's 1.00Pm- the house is spotless (well matt spotless ) I'm here typing this in the cool dark house, while the husband is out in the heat getting grocerys..WOW, And he has just walked through the door- WITH LUNCH!!! ...............

SUNDAY NIGHT-
you'd think after a beautiful day, things could only be good right?- Wrong...
Had a massive fight (matt told me off, and i bit my tongue as usual) I feel as if we are drifting apart more and more, Not his fault, more mine- as i'm the one growing and changing. (grow outwards and emotionaly )
ANYWAY- Hunter was good all avo- Aussie for afternoon- and went to bed great- must be the old reciepe of vodka (JOKE)
About to finish on here, after deleteing another 30-40 new members (anyone want porn on the side- let me know )- JOKE again......
Good Night all. See you's tomorrow. _________________ Thinking of you Inica

First, does Australia have a child protective services department? I think the would be interested in how you get Hunter to sleep with a shot of vodka . Joke .

Sounds "professional" to me. You tried to do what she asked but you do know what you can and cannot do for your customers. Now you know what doctors must feel when we second guess them all the time and discount their years of training and experience . _________________ Jim

MONDAY-
Didn't sleep, but whats so different than other nights. (though this time because of me, and not so much hunter- though he did remind me he was there )
Have a day off today- yaay- Any one with children know this day off is another discription for a full day of housework etc. Cleaned, did windows, vaccum, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms. But i was sneaky today. First time ever- i promise - I rang a Lawn/yard guy to do all the yard and weeks and edges. He even trimmed roses, etc. Didn't cost as much as i'd thought too- bonus!
So means my back is only half unmoveable, I can still feel the legs.
For the First time in ever (well as long as I could do the Christmas tree myself) My Tree isn't up....I know, I know it's only Novemeber, BUT seriously- why wait till December to put up?? If early then i get organised, have presents under and get excited. Then it doesn't feel like it's over in two days. more like the whole month.
Love Christmas. Since Matt and I bought our first christmas tree, I have bought a unique or made a unique orniment for the tree. Something special for that year- Example= 2000- a tiny christams tree (1st christmas tree), 2001- A tiny black dog (our dog), Ultrasound of Hunter, Hunters first christmas santa photo. Neices- such as a poppy flower for "Poppy" and a little angel for "Lilli angel"....etc. This year a tiny crystal blue dummy (Aussie for a pacifer) for my new newphew- Luca.
ANWAY- i get off track lol- I still haven't got the tree up. So made a promise with myself to do tomorrow night after work. Haven't decided to let Hunter "help" yet. I'm one of these imaculate tree decorators. You know- organises colour and sizes to be placed all around tree, equally. (and i wonder why my husband hates to do the tree). lol So tree and lights tomorrow !
Grrr more Formals (graduations) this week. Therefor= Giggly annoying teenagers that want blue or green eye shadow. (kinda like Mimmi off The Drew Carry Show. Or red lips with pink gloss (promise to be better than Saturdays Girl
Today I finally got the nerve to ring a very special friend of mine...I did cough, dial, hangup, dial, hangup....the dial.........Then i try the I'm relaxed and cool, my face is not red, not embarrassed or stressed at all....just don't giggle or laugh and pig snort!!!!!
Well all went well. 2 seconds into the phone call She had to go in a hurry- spilt something. lol- all that for 2 seconds...BUT I DID IT yaaaay.Might even be easier nextime.
Well about to get Hunter ready for a Family dinner at Grandparents.... _________________ Thinking of you Inica

well... Siting up at 1.00Am (The agnosing thing- Hunters asleep)
Had a full on day, on my hands and knees.
Scrubing floors! It was so quite at work today- had weeks mixed up, the other formals- graduations are next week. My room about a 3x3 room with a dividng door to another 3x3- which i open, I often explain to the Beauty bed- theres not enough room for the two of us in here.
Anyway wasn't till my head started spining that i thought to look at the Caution on the back of this amazing cleaner- (wax disolver, even removes paint ) That it has Toxic on bottle- by the time I put bottle away- turned aircon on full blast, i was making a fool of myself. Then made myself sick- weither from the embarrassment or the fumes- who knows.
Didn't get the tree up tonight But will by Thursday- alot happening at the Inica Household- why else would I be awake, if hunter wasn't ????
Had a good chat with a close friend tonight. I'm usually the one everyone comes to for help, advice or an ear. But lately I've had a need myself. And two specail friends came to my rescue. One has been there for,it feels like forever, and the other quite new- with amazing talents to use- A friend with benifits-
Well, work tomorrow. And you never know I could still be up with Hunter....Night or should I say Morning, _________________ Thinking of you Inica

Dear Inica
Thanks for the very interesting "window" into your life. It sure sounds busy! I know excactly what a 2yr old contributes. We had a dog food eater, he also enjoyed soap. Go figure! He is 8yrs old now & still a handful, very active child. He "gave up" dog food & soap only recently (in the last 12 mths).
You have a wonderful sense of humour & are such a huge contributor to this forum. Thankyou Inica for your inspiration.
Fellow Aussie, Cheers Angie. _________________ Brother has GBMIV

So Today...
Went to bed this moring around 4am- was woken at 6am from hunter.
Then a phone call, My Sister-in-law had a really bad car accident. She feels awful- "Feel like i was hit by a truck" -- But she was. She was travelling to a town- the speed limit went from 100km's (6omph) to 50km's. (30mph). Just into the new speed limit there was a turn to her right, she was still and had blinker(indicator) on. This truck came screeming up behind her, Thought he was going to run up the back of her, so decided to swerve around her. The idiot went on the inside of her- the way she was turning- and wrong side of the road too... She didn't see him coming so quick. She saw that she was clear from the oncoming traffic and turned. He T-boned the side of her car (her side too). Her car is a right off, there was pieces of the truck inbeded in her car.
She was very lucky, lacerations and alot of swelling and bruising, but other wise ok..... Must be- she sent me a E-mail :
"Hi, don't worry, I'm ok. I Just feel like I was hit by a truck (ha ha ) Along with a picture of her car.
Then spent the rest of the day cutting old ladies toenails...why is it as you get old, the nails get so gross and tough?? Had this sweet little lady who said "you'll need to get out the grinder. " (nearly had to)
Came home, had a long soak in the bath- back acheing from leaning so much cutting goats nails. Had something to eat and now about to veg.
I sooo want to do the tree, but just not getting the urge or energy to do it, maybe some carols _________________ Thinking of you Inica

THURSDAY-
Woke to my tummy being used as a drum, and my ear as a microphone.
Today is the day we all have together. Matt got up to Hunter, so i had a much deserved break, Till hunter thought he was a rock n roll star.
We did our usual Thursday stuff, wrestled on our big bed. Repeatly tell hunter not to bounce, jump, hop, or even skip on the bed. Down the street for groceries and shopping, drag hunter away from the merr'go'rounds, rides etc. (I now know, as a mother, why they place these at the exits and entries to the shops.) what a way to make money!!!- Parents too embarrassed to let their children play up, kick screeeeeeem
Well Not matt- he quite happily threw Hunter over his shoulder and high tailed it out of there. Funny sight. (mind you he had two goes )
Then a early dinner with my parents out at their property, nothing beats a meal you don't have to cook. Plus great company. Hunter Matt and I went for a bush walk- and checked out the new baby Alpacca, Storm- you got it- was born in a storm, orginal i know. Yelled out "cooooeeeee" Aussie term- If lost in the bush, or a hello to someone a mile away. It carries really good, and if you have your hands perfect- then it echoes sssss .
Hunter down for the Night- and now the Christmas tree- Just Matt and I this year. Demon Child can "help" nextyear........
Night All. _________________ Thinking of you Inica

Hopefully, you will someday look at Hunter as he struggles with his own child and say with a sly smile on your face: "Now you know how we felt when you were little!" Enjoy these days... they pass so quickly. _________________ Jim
