I am currently trying to do some research on Prostate Cancer and why it has risen so much within the past 10 years. I have found plenty of information on the cause and effect prostate cancer has on men and also the many different types of treatments- risks and benefits. However, why has it risen so much? could it be environmental pollutants? a genetic cause? e..t..c... I would be really interested in hearing your thoughts about the topic as. Moreover, i will be more then glad to accept any web-links, books, journals, or articles that could ultimately lead me to some sort of conclusion or at least close to a theory. Thank you.

Perhaps the statistical increase is simply that there is a greater awareness of prostate cancer, more frequent checks, men living longer and checks being done sooner.
